What an insiration Claire is .......

A huge "Well done" to Claire Lomas who completed the London Marathon yesterday wearing a robotic suit and has raised over £90,000 for Spinal research charities. Claire lives quite close to my home town and sadly she was paralysed in a riding accident. Reading about her determination to keep walking the London streets in this dreadful wet weather and her cheerfulness has been an inspiration, whenever I feel down in the dumps ........ I felt she needed some recognition on Answerbank today. :))

There's quite often someone like that who does the London Marathon ... remember the wounded soldier who took about three weeks?

These people set such an incredible example. They don't whinge. They grab life by the balls and give it a damn good thrashing.

I hope she gets more recognition for what she's done.

Last year Eddie Kidd took 43 days to complete the course and he got one.

Richard Branson gave her a special trophy and a night in a top London hotel as a gift to Claire and her family, which I thought was a brilliant gesture.
