I have purposely avoided every minute of it. Even the news is all about the Jubilee. Roll on Wednesday when hopefully we can get the TV and News back to normal. I'm not anti-royal, just anti shoving it in my face all day and all night.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.maybe so mikmak but its not very often we will celebrate the diamond jubilee of our monarch...there is enough doom and gloom in the world at the moment...isny it nice to see people on the tv news enjoying themselves smiling in joy??...and not of images of people dying,being blown apart and crying at their plight...we have enough of that 365 days a year...surely 4 days of joy on the tv is not too much for you....
Yes it has dominated the TV - and with very good reason. This is only the second time in the whole history of the UK (and lets face it, that's some history!) that this has happened. If you aren't interested in it, then Im sure there are lots of channels on telly that arent showing it. As for me - Im loving it!!!!
lol not at all mikmak i do not wring my cap...but surely you must agree that this is a remarkable piece of history we are witnessing...oh well if you would rather watch butch cassidy and the sundance kid then that is your perogotive..i think bridge over the river kwai is on tomorrow if that interests you more than watching history in the making....
