Do you believe he was just being curious or was there a more serious intent?

Why would he need to use specialist software to securely wipe the file from the computer, surely just erasing the file in the usual way would be enough for his sister not to be able to retrieve the file, but perhaps not the police?

Anyboy who gets their bomb making recipes from Al qaeda is either craving attention, an idiot or both. IRA bombs are much more reliable and well documented.

i dont know what it was based on sandy as i never read it or even saw the book. i just know it was popular amongst all our drinking buddies and everyone wanted to have a lend of it... when i first heard them on about it i thought it was some daft recipe book full of dishes laden with calories or something.....

Accessing material like this on its own should never be an offense

However in the context of other activities like say having the home addresses of potential targets, contact details for chemical suppliers etc. it could be evidence of a real plot.

Like all postings on here, some obviously have to be evaluated in context, and just because at the time we can not carry this out, it would be foolish not to enter a news story up for discussion on the facts already known.

After all isn't this what this site is all about Questions and Answers, Suggestions and Speculations etc, etc, in fact a general throwing together of various ideas which are open for debate?
