It is usually ill advised to stand up for what you believe in if it upsets the stamping ground of the left. Have this rather naive couple deserved the level of abuse that has come their way?

That's a ridiculous thing to say sp. If it had been two gays handing in a petition in favour of gay marriage would you be expressing the same apologist sentiments about people who spouted this kind of hatred towards them?

Free speech is indeed a tenet for all but, with that right comes responsibilty, and these internet trolls are way short of the responsibity required to cross the road alone, never mind profer adult opinions.

Wishing babies dead or wishing cancer on a couple, no matter how much you disagree with them, is the action of bigoted and twisted individual too.

If you want to hit out at someone then you do it by deconstructing their argument, not petulantly wishing illness and death. A plague on all their houses.

I have said it before a few times on here regarding other stories, but these morons dont seem to realise that the death threats and sickening wishes etc that they throw at someone who has upset them, makes them far, far worse a human being than the person who has 'wronged' them.
the irony of this is lost on them.
