/// A superintendent told researchers people now think 'riots are fun' and they are no better equipped to deal with disorder after four nights of violence last August. ///

That is all we need, they are finding it hard to police the Olympics how would they go on if their fears were to materialise?

/// When asked if rioting will happen again, he said: 'I think if you have bad economic times, hot weather, some sort of an event that sets it off...my answer is: yes, it could. ///

Gromit

I am surprised this thread has not attracted much interest, so it's just you and I then Gromit.

/// But it stops the public filming you when you are beating the crap out of a Big Issue Seller. ///

Why have you got this thing about our Police Service, and yet you later enter a thread moaning about the cuts in the Police Service?

If they got rid of all the police, then surely you would be cock-a-hoop?
