We must be paying thousands of pounds to provide security against a terrorist attack during the Olympics, and it is money well spent if it protects all those attending the Olympics.
But it makes one wonder if they have closed the gate after the horse has bolted, when one reads the extraordinary record of just this one suspect.

We should not be complacent, and be vigilant at all times, but the use of the words 'suspected' and 'allegedly' liberally sprinkled around this article (plus the absence of the suspect's name) registers red on my bullsh...ometer.

What's really not funny is that we have adults in a position of authority who lack basic common sense.
Even if the prosthetic looked as real as Heather MacCartney's (and I've seen her's up close, and it's amazingly life-like), the feel of it should've given it away (together with any patient records the officers should have had).
