How long will it take from victoria station to Kings Cross station at 530pm

Hi there I am going to be in London for a few days in November and I am seeing billy elliot at the theatre close to victoria station it finishes at 530pm and my train home from kings cross is at 7pm. Is that enough time do you think?

20 minutes, it's only a few stops. Does get very busy though as it's commuter rush hour.

longer probably as the traffic will be quite heavy, it always is. Give it 30/40 minutes, it's not that far but having been caught in it endless times would say that is a decent enough estimate.

What day of the week is it ? migh be a bit tight Monday to Friday as em says it's rush hour.

Eddie, at weekends there are underground engineering works going on.

em yes I know but Victoria to Kings Cross should be running as normal and the main advantage of the weekend is the lack of commuter traffic so a taxi will be a lot faster regardless of the tube situation. This is after the Olympics as well so the tube engineering work should hopefully be finished.

Eddie, the tube work has been going on for so long i don't think it will ever be finished. But reckon taxi should be 40 minutes tops.

If you nip out quickly as the show is ending, I think you should be fine - but tell the taxi driver you need to be there by 645pm and he might know some short cuts.
