Do you prefer Digital Radio to old Steam radio?

I own one of these Dab radios, but find one is limited to the number of stations available, and although it is often said the reception one gets is crystal clear, I do not find it so, one particular station I listen to fades away according to the weather, even with the retractable antenna fully extended.

iTunes is free software that you can buy music and put on iPods. But you do not have to use it for that. It also has thousands of streaming radio stations, many in the criteria you want.

Yes I was advised once to pick up Gold on my DAB radio (if it is the same station) but I wasn't very impressed, I could not receive any nice late night music.

Just downloaded this, and it still sounds rather noisy.

aog in the past there was a bloke with one of these dab radios less than 200 yards from the studio in london and he could not listen to them

Since you have brought this up, I have always wondered if it harms your TV having a stationary image on it's screen?

I was once told that this can burn a permanent mark on the screen.

Fair comments A/Bers but there appears to be a belief that everyone now owns a computer. I personally know many elderly people who despite my efforts to get them interested in the internet simply do not want to know.

LCD and LED TVs have less of a problem with screen burn than CRT TVs had/have.

Also worth noting that some radio stations have a moving image rather than a fixed one.

TV cannot play the station i prefer.

Screen burn was a problem with cathode ray tube tvs but not modern ones.

It's a little misleading to say modern TV's don't get screen burn, Plasma TV's suffer from screen burn, LCD TV's don't.

Where it works it's ok; but my experience about half hour ago shows the problem. Half the stations have question marks by them and it turns out they are in the list but amazingly are off the air ! Many of the rest have reception so bad they simply can't be listened to. But it's fine when it can be received.

Gold is on dab too.......
i get a lot more stations than on that list.
the only thing i don't like about the dab radio it will only work in one spot in my living room
and its a "pure" model highly recommended by "which"
