look at the comments under this article from today's Mail On Sunday about Anthea Turner's husband being unfaithful to her: http://www.dailymail....-affair-woman-24.html It appears hardly anybody has sympathy for Anthea because Grant left his first wife for her - thus since then Anthea has been considered a marriage-breaker. So there are lots of "What goes around comes around" comments. I'm more inclined towards the phrase "a leopard never changes its spots". Anthea married Grant within two years of his divorce, and I know they also say "love is blind", but surely you first think seriously that this kind of man is always likely to stray once the lust has worn off of each relationship. David Seaman is another classic celeb example - I wonder how long it'll be before he dumps his ice skater for another, younger, bit of fluff. Do you think Anthea deserves all she's getting or do you think she's just been a bit of a blonde?

She deserves all she gets in my opinion. She knew he was married when she got together with him. I have no sympathy with her whatsoever!
I hope her husband remembers what he said in 2011 when they moved into a £5million mansion a month after he was discharged from bankruptcy leaving investors in his property scheme still owed up to £3.4million.
He said: "The house was bought with Anthea's money and I have no equity interest in it whatsoever."
I suspect his opinion may change in the near future.
No, I don't think anyone deserves that regardless of their own mistakes.
I am just very thankful I don't live my life in the public eye.
It's nobody's business but their own.
Exactly...we also don't have any of the facts.
she did get 12 years out of him
I think its still a shame for her.

Sometimes people make decisions that hurt others, but its right for them...in this case it was 12years right....

Nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors- what his marriage was like or whatever- love IS blind! Xx
And sometimes deaf.
I agree with ummmmm

He does come across as a smarmy bastad though
I agree with ELVIS :-)
Ummmm is a .....He ?

lol@ mick

Sorry ummmmm ;o)
I agree with Ummmm too..and Elvis... Not so sure about Mick tho, Ummmm? ;)
Well heres the thing Anthea Turner had an affair with a smarmy b@stard whilst he was still married - at that point she should have remembered the words of the great Su Ellen Ewing 'when a man marries his mistress he creates a vacancy somewhere' They married and Anthea went on to have a solid relationship with her stepdaughters
As for the former england goalie.... the words of the great Springsteen spring to mind 'a man turns his back on his family he just aint no good'

Sorry if there are typos but our system is being silly today
I would have more sympathy for her if she hadn't been so smug about it at the time.
Many women are happily married, knowing that their husbands are serial adulterous.......it is the norm in countries like Greece and France.
So how come you live in Spain?
Spreading the word?
