Odd that some are comparing this to the Daly 'incident'.

A man says an Olympic athlete let his deceased father down. And? If you said it in the street you wouldn't be arrested.

Yet two girls waste police time and falsify a crime and both these girls and the Daly twitter person should all be locked up?

The girls should be punished by having a warning and be grounded for a week and the Daly twitter person should be let go. He is a bit of an idiot judging by his you tube rant I saw yesterday but arresting him for that is bordering on a nazi state.

How long before they start arresting people for posting things on here saying Cameron should resign or the GB olympic team are a waste of space?

I report a 16 year old in the street waving a 6 inch bread knife in a threatening way. Police take a statement and then do nothing else.

Someone tweets in bad taste and the Police are on them in hours.
