Bottled Water

I keep seeing people in Supermarkets with trolleys full of packs of bottled water. I live in South Wales and our water free from the tap is wonderful.
Do you think people who buy water have more money than sense ?

I'm not sure what exactly is in tap water but many people who are constipated and have made the switch have then suddenly seen a relief in the digestive system transit so this goes to prove that there's something that doesn't quite agree with the human digestive system in it.

Our water is great to drink so wouldn't buy water. Our water in Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire years ago tasted chlorinated, but I still would drink it. I have never experienced constipation!!! Nothing wrong with water from the tap unless the taste isn't to your liking.
I buy bottled water abroad for safety reasons unless reliably informed that the water is safe.

It depends where you live as to what your water tastes like - bottled water isn't cheap in the long run, and most people don't need it, it's just convenient. I buy a bottle about once every six weeks, then just keep refilling it from the tap or from the water cooler at work.
I was thinking about this the other day on the train, people now like to carry drinks with them, carting coffee about with them everywhere. I don't understand it.

Mikey, what's in bottles tends to come from springs etc., what comes out of the tap has been - er - processed - so yes, there is stuff in it but only traces. Some water tastes gross, the worst I ever had was in Norfolk, you couldn't drink it out of the tap. Birmingham water comes from Wales, that was lovely and soft - down here in Kent it's really hard, it doesn't suit everyone. However, I wouldn't buy bottled unless I really needed it.
Sqad - LOL - yes, one gets on the train with ones coffee and one's i-Pad, it is quite a statement....

More refreshing...what does that mean ? It means more refreshing then tap water.
Daish... I don't believe a word of it...complete tosh ! You stay with inferior and potentially dangerous tap water and i'll keep to bottled.
Where do you think the water in those bottles comes from...heaven ? Well the snow on top of the highest mountains is as near to heaven as we can get and it's the most purest water on earth.
Take a blinfold test and you too will be able to taste the difference if your tastebuds haven't been destroyed by smoking, alcohol and hot drinks.
