Is it when persons on here mention or even come to discussing the Asian population the crying starts, a person has just mentioned Insurance but did not say who the worst offenders are, and we all know who they are but are people afraid of saying it? we mention every other nationality but mention them, the sht hits the fan, we do have the right to voice our opinion don't we?

The shows portray a vast number of motoring offenses comitted in the majority of cases by drivers with great difficulty understanding or speaking English.
This could be for several reasons:
entertainment value, it usually turns up they were perfectly able to speak and understand english but had chosen to pretend not to.
well actually no, there's only that one reason! It's very satusfying when the voice over mentions that the driver was fined/banned, (very rarely jailed) and that their excuses were lame.
it could be that the producers and editors are biased and don't appreciate their insurance premiums being more expensive because some chancer tries driving uninsured or taxed.
maybe the TV show sets out to show there is a particular proble for the police when trying to deal with members of te public who can hide behind their ethnic origins.
If I was pulled up and opened my gob the cop would know where I came from and wouldn't need to waste time trying to communicate through an interpreter nor try to establish whether I was myself or my sister! It all costs more money, wastes time and must get very frustrating for the police, they must be very profesional in their approach to a situation where there seems to be an offence but identity and language are a barrier.
they probably have to be very patient and work to establish just who they are dealing with.

I would have thought that those driving without insurance are mainly the young, irrespective of their race. A young lad I know has just passed his test. He's 17 and because his cheapest quote was over £2k he cannot afford it. He now wonders why he bothered to spend the money to learn in the first place.
Is it a particular nation within Asia that gets up your nose? Asia is a big place, are they all scamming.....even the UAE royalty who had their high end sports cars parked in Park Lane this summer.
