I had my fringe cut back in a couple of weeks ago so I've been having to train it to sit properly again as I get a little cowslip. The trainings going fine but I feel like my fringe needs a product to keep it in the same shape all day and I was wondering what people use please for the fringes? I would prefer not to use hairspray.

I use hairspray but spray it on a round brush then style my fringe with that it works pretty well and doesn't feel like I've got hairspray in at all.
plait it and attach small weights to the end- colour coordinate with your outfit if you're feeling chic.
dont you mean a cowslick?

Helpful as ever B00bies! ;oP

You learn something new everyday bednobs, I'll have to try and remember that!

Thanks sophie, I find that hairspray seems to make my forehead feel itchy. I've been spraying some on fingers and applying it that way, I'll give yours a go, would it work with a comb? I don't use hairbrushes.
*Cowlick* ;)
ok, sigh, suppose you want a sensible answerr eh? No pleasin' some folk is there?

I straighten mine with the straighteners, it stays in all day too.

I use straighteners too, I've just got the sort of hair that turns to mess really easily... rather like the rest of me actually!
I suffered with that problem all my life until I had a shaggy dog haircut that looks scruffy on purpose and takes no maintenance. Hair goes every which way but........................

My fringe is the only part of my hair that I try and keep neat Lofty, the rest can do what it wants... as long as I have a hair clip on standby ;o)
It might work with a comb, just spray a little bit on at a time and see what works.
I'd love to have a fringe and have tried several times but the kink at the front of my hair (which isn't a cowslick but the hair falls into a backward 'c' shape) won't allow it without a massive fight.
In the end, I've had to give up as the extra weight required to pull the 'c' shape out means that my fringe needs to be long....so no fringe.
Good luck if you manage to conquer it!
