The TV is jammed full of ambulance chasers these days. Minister are looking to change the 'elf an' safety laws to help curb this.
but will it help, we cant go on like this, we have to generate proper business and build things in this country not just live off the backs of the tired majority who fund it by increased fees and insurance bills.
And more importantly, how long before Bruxelles jumps on us ?

Why not put the onus on the person who has made the claim. They could take out insurances for themselves in case anything goes wrong. We do this with motor insurance by getting comprehensive cover. We take out life insurances. They do it with travel insurance.
So if you go into hospital and something nasty happens its not because the surgeon has taken a dislike to you and wishes to do harm. So the answer is if you feel something nasty will happen take out a pre-paid insurance to cover the operation.
