What's this all about?

Bomb Sqad were called this morning to Claygate, neighbouring houses and media cleared, something in the shed.

How weird - and linked? The plot thickens..... News from Annecy was that all the bullets came from the same weapon; they haven't said what sort yet.

I can't get it out of my mind when they said he was being monitored by the security services. Now they find what looks like a bomb in his garage. If the two are linked and he was plotting to do harm what better way of nipping it in the bud.

Well, a better way to "nip it in the bud" might be to just shoot him, rather than - putting 2 bullets into the head of his wife, and 2 bullets into the head of his mother ( or mother in law), and a bullet into his 7 year old daughter, followed by a pistolwhipping , and 5 bullets into a passing french cyclist - Speculating wildly, as I suppose we are all prone to do from time to time, I would be a bit miffed, were I head of secret services, and the field agents were as spectacularly messy as they seem to have been....

so much as this case doesn't add up. Not least that people have been allowed on to the murder scene, driving over the spot where those poor people were killed. Surely it should have been roped off to stop contamination of evidence. One senior British police officer said that in his opinion it wasn't a professional hit, as the bullet cases wouldn't have been left at the scene.
