Libyan Embassy attack - are wee being taken for a ride by the press (again)?
Is your faith in the truthfulness of the fourth estate still as high as it ever was?
In particular, do you worry that certain sections of the news media are trying to 'manage' us with regards to stories about Islam in general?
Are we losing our ability to separate fact from fiction?

I also go to channel 85 on freeview and watch the rolling news. There is an awful lot of content that never gets shown on our news. I am not saying that it is all true but it makes you think about what we are spoonfed by our controlled media

You mean the US ambassador is really still alive ?
Interesting link - it seems the film WAS made, and all the 'actors' in the Land of the Free are now back-tracking. The people being spoon fed by the media it seems to me are the residents of Egypt, Libya and Yemen.
I mean, you dont like a film and so you go and burn down an Embassy with the ambassador inside. Oh come on !

Don't see fact and fiction in the news coverage or any 'management' in this case. What did you see, sp ? The BBC and Sky, and serious newspapers here, pointed out that protests were already planned for the anniversary of 9/11 and that these would be, and were, reinforced by the other events referred to in your link This film provided an extra, gratuitous, boost and excuse, but the other elements were already there.
