I wonder if the FA will now charge Ferdinand for bringing the game into disrepute?

It wasn't in the game

Oh yeh he's black ain't he, should've seen this one coming.
Evra and Suarez was different as Suarez being the offender avoided the handshake.

Ferdinand was not the offender so can't say I blame him for avoiding the handshake.

Fairplay to Terry though.
I think it impossible to bring the game of football into disrepute when it is already disreputable.

Er no he is of mixed race English Mother, Saint Lucian Father.

And isn't Cole also of mixed race his Father from Barbados and his mother white British.

So please get your facts right.
Ferdinand is as bad as Suarez

Neither was Terry, he was cleared of the charges against him.
No wonder I now spend my money on junior football.
One word.

Pathetic

I blame the FA. This was almost inevitable and they should do away with the silly nonsense of shaking hands before games. Did they learn nothing from Suarez and Evra?
As a Liverpool fan I am intrigued to see if this gets as much attention as the Suarez/Evra handshake. On the other hand, Terry and Cole are rats on and off the pitch!!
Whereas Suarez is a paragon of virtue who should be deemed an angel on earth.
When Rio and Anton Ferdinand finish their careers, I will remember them not for their football but for being total plonkers
No not at all.... Suarez is recognised for his temperament as much as his skill. I personally dont want the Evra incident to define his time in the league though. Any team in the league would have him. JT is a bully, has been for years. On and off the pitch both men have shown themselves to be dishonest and corrupt, at least Suarez keeps his personal life private and in check.
Newsflash, all professional footballers are going to be issued with dummies, the behave like baby's so lets treat like baby's bloody overpaid Salad Chefs.

There is no rule that a player has to shake hands.

If he doesn't shake hands then he hasn't broken any rule.

The only people who think this is relevant to anything are racist bigot idiots with their own agenda to push.
Not everyone washes their hands when going to the toilet. Better to keep germs at bay.
"The only people who think this is relevant to anything are racist bigot idiots with their own agenda to push."

A sweeping statement Gromit, and almost impossible to substantiate. I think it is all an overblown charade, as are all pre-match handshaking rituals, but anti-racist campaigners might me able to point out the relevance of why the Terry handshake was declined?
Gromit - don';t you think that the hand-shake 'routine' is to emphasise the Respect element that the players wear on their arms - and hopefully portray in the game?
