not using the public purse, and if it's in house, private grounds, then it's a gross invasion of one's privacy. Pretty much the same now you have cctv shoved in your home, area, shops, loos, 24/7.

chuck - the exact link you have posted was removed rather sharpish yesterday after being posted on the following thread . . .

While the topic has been discussed at length on this (my) thread, I would prefer direct links to the Kate Pictures were not posted here.
So Richard Desmond, that well known keeper of public rectitude, is so angry at the publication of the topless kate pictures in the Irish Daily Star that he is , supposedly, shutting down the paper.

Oh, the irony of the UK pornographer in chief shutting down a paper over topless photos....

Guess he is worried about his knighthood, after all...... :)
Surely Richard Desmond does not think that he would have ever, receive a Knighthood ?
Question Author
Yes, LazyGun, that's the same link in my OP
Aren't both Kate and Harry a tad naive to think they can expose their bits to the air and not get snapped.

The Queen must despair of these young uns.
oops sorry sir.prize - had not opened your link, was just going on the subsequent posts and saw this announced in my twitter feed :)
Baring all means the falsies have to stay in the cupboard. On a similar vein Angelica Jollie was asked on Radio 5 a couple of years ago if she weared falsies in Tomb Raider as her personal appearance in the studio did not match up to the film version. What cheek!

Will the Irish newspaper staff all be fired or made redundant if the chairman closes the titles as he has threatened?
His phrase is that he will "close down the joint venture", i.e. as the opening line says, cut ties. The paper won't be shut down, necessarily.

As for being a pornographer, presumably he would claim that as such he published pictures of people who agreed to be shown naked ...
Question Author
The newspaper industry is certainly going through a rough time - hacking-gate etc etc.
Not to mention Hillsborough. They bring it on themselves ...
GCHQ censor Internet surfing DTfan? Hah ha where in earth did you hear that?!!
The Irish newspaper to publish these photos is owned by the owner of the Daily Express group. Maybe the owner, who also publishes top shelf pornographic magazines should be sent to the tower?

/// Try to keep on topic, AOG ///

When has that ever been a problem on this site?
Question Author
AOG - it only becomes a problem when people choose to discuss irrelevant/unconnected topics within a specific thread - as you invariably do, despite the Editors plea . . .

Thanks for the link em, but I was referring to the one I posted in the 'news section'.

I did not think to look into ChatterBank seeing that, that section is generally reserved for the more Chit-Chat type of postings.
Actually, I feel sorry for them. Why shouldn't she go topless if she wants, a lot of us do !!
