She falsely accused three men of rape and has been jailed.

It's difficult enough to get rape convictions, so are her actions detrimental to the genuine victims who try to convince a jury?

it will always be difficult to prove your case if you know the rapist, for example in cases of date rape, your word against theirs. it would seem only if you are beaten black and blue and left for dead will you have a case, and perhaps not even then. She has gone to prison that is a good step. it doesn't serve women well who have gone through this trauma to have the likes of her making false accusations.

I wouldn't say she's disadvantaged others necessarily - but what she's done is absolutely dispicable and her punishment is well deserved.
