Not all Arab Muslim protesters evil uneducated jihadists shock

In the midst of the news of protests across the mainly Moslem world recently it is it not great to hear of the protests in Benghazi against the militias and against the killing of the US ambassador there. Not that we should be surprised of course, as we remember the so-called Arab spring protests of last year.

From what I've been reading they wanted the militas out because of the way they were being treated by them, not because of some altruistic reasons and for the good of the country and all that

Why should they be 'altruistic'? I'm puzzled

Doesn't a lot of the unrest in that part of the Middle East simply come down to basic intolerance amongst different tribal elements and sects?

I do not purport to be any kind of expert - far from it, but various reports, for example, from Syria, have highlighted the fact that much of the bloodshed has been - unbelievably - different militias from different villages?

Plus, it is often reported from Iraq that such and such a bombing has been carried out supposedly by Shias in Sun areas and vice versa. In other words, apparently nothing more than religious intolerance which has such a lot to answer for - in many other parts of the world as well.

Time after time we see the foolishness of getting involved in other Middle East countrys affairs. They seem to hate us proportionally to the amount of effort we expel in trying to reform that country. I'm surprised we have ambassadors in Libya.

The protests and the anti-protests seem to be about political power struggles following the arab spring. As is so often the case throughout history, religion is just something thrown into the mix to help manipulate the ignorant.
