I did wince, but thought she coped well with the silence from the audience & in general made a good job of hosting a difficult show.

However, is it really any worse than wishing sex offenders "get what's coming to them" from big burly men in prison?

I thought it seemed unlike Sandi Toksvig somehow. But remembering Clare Balding casually insulting Liam Treadwell and his teeth, I reckon this is probably typical of her style.

I agree with you there, craftie. It certainly wasn't one of their better ones and even the line from Graham Linehan on Hamzu that the very subject wasn't a font for humour.....well said but that helped "kill" the programme, as well. Normally, it is very funny.
