/// But suspicions over the growing number of applications in Islamabad led to the Rotherham-based ring being smashed and none of the 62 fraudulent visa applications were ever granted. ///

But I wonder how many got away with it before these 62 cases were discovered?

Should the authorities now look into all marriages that have taken place between Pakistani men and Eastern European women?

that could occur in any town and city AOG
Yes AOG.

Authorities should investigate all marriages between Pakistani men and Eastern European women...not only those that are planned, but all marriages over the past ten years.

Not long enough, sp. Let's make it 'lives in being plus 21 years' That should clear the devils out, by Jove.
Laws prohibiting miscegenation would nip this kind of thing in the bud.
Rotherham has always been a crap place, mind you I'm prejudiced that's where I met the Bitch Queen, my ex.
Den of Iniquity......what are property prices like?
Shoota

I'm afraid that property prices are on the increase in Rotherham. A few years ago, £130K would've bought you a nice semi detatched den of iniquity.

Now, the same money will only get you a 'hut of naughtiness'.
can see you are taking it seriously..
Hut if naughtiness? When I were a lad we were grateful for a coal bunker of headstrong attitudes we were. But we were happy!
//All marriages of anyone brown to anyone non brown should be investigated, going back 1,000 yrs. //

I went to a wedding Saturday gone , where a ' brown' married a ' non brown ' - in fact she was a 'white ' Latvian .

You know that bit where the minister of religion ask '' if there is anyone here ..... '' .

Should I have piped up - ' has anyone investigated the true intention of this proposed union ' ?.

I feel i've failed in my civic duty

/// false documents claiming the women could support their 'husbands' in the UK. ///

/// A well-organised sham marriage gang staged fake weddings ///

/// false documents, applications for settlement and family permit visas ///

/// As overseas nationals they would have been allowed to stay in the UK as 'husbands' of their spouses who were legitimately resident here as EU citizens. ///

/// A total of 62 fraudulent visa applications were linked to 32 addresses in the UK ///

All this on top of the recent Child grooming gangs.

All sounds a pretty serious situation to me.
