They would not require the ages and its only because of the recent publicity we know who we're talking about but in a similar case would be unknown but who were breaking the law. Shopkeepers who sell cigarettes to under age are breaking the law but B&B owners would not.
Point is that if you are offering a public service, you have no right to discriminate against any particular segment of society, regardless of your own personal views.
I havent followed the case all that closely, but it is all the more wrong if they took the booking then attempted to turn them away on the doorstep. Same thing for unmarried heterosexuals as well, come to that...
