I see the 'RED PLEBS' were out in force in London yesterday, Red flags flying high.
I wonder if any one of them could actually come up with a solution to the present problems that we now find this country in?
Do they really think that by giving every public sector job back, and to carry on borrowing in the time trusted Labour way, would make everything go away?
Even their guest speaker Miliband could not give them such promises, so they booed him, and yet cheered the Unions idea for a General Strike.
What was apparent out of all this however was the fact that some irresponsible parents took their young children along, I suppose they would have been the first to complain had any of them had been injured if things turned a little heated.

A few observations on your post.
1. I imagine their solution is defeating the Government.
2. This Government is borrowing the same as Labour and is failing in their pledge to pay off the deficit.
3. Children learning about politics is a good thing and more should be done to encourage it. Then, maybe young voters would use their vote, instead of wasting it.

You do not believe children should learn about politics AOG? I remember a schoolboy William Hague at the Conservative Party Conference. He went on to lead his party not long after. The youth are the next generation of leaders. Rather than denying them the opportunity as you seem to be advocating, we should be getting them interested and participating as much as pissible.

As a result, in 2012 the interest on the national debt will cost £44.8 billion a year. That's more than we spend on defence, and not much less than the entire education budget. So if they want cuts, get on top of this expanding balloon.
Future generations won't thank us for mortgaging their future. At best, national debt will be a millstone round our children's necks. But if lenders lose faith in Britain there could be profound consequences for our currency, our country and our lives. And Milliband's mob and associated anarchists are intent on adding to the balloon.
In short, they are naive and idiotic even to think about a general strike.

We need a general strike like a hole in the head.
Trouble with the red flag brigade is that they do not consider that wealth has to be created and that public sector jobs exist at all because someone created the money to pay them. They believe that money is picked off a magic beanstalk and given to them.
Noo Labour created 600,000 non jobs, that are an obvious target when the fat needs trimming. Most of those losing their non jobs will have voted Labour because His Tonyness was their friend and gave them a job. In doing so he also forced a later governement to have to trim those jobs. So hopefully they will see the light and start voting Tory!

Very much barney - and under whose watch did these awful banks go belly up, a party called Labour who relaxed and relaxed regulation and sold off our assets such as the gold reserves, never mind continuances of PFIs, railways, utilities and all the rest.
Now there is a considerable amount of our money tied up in the banks and should, at some point, pass back into the private sector, bringing down our exposure and overall numbers - the risk being that this occurs under a Labour government or perhaps Lab/Lib and, guess what, the gains will be used to finance their hair-brained schemes and "socialist engineering" and not in getting our national finances on a stable footing.

According to some the Coalition and the Banks, seem to be the 'bogey men' blamed for the present unemployment crisis, but very little blame is put at the door of the real cause, that being the unrestricted mass immigration that took place during the 13 years of Labour.

And this is only the tip of the iceberg, considering the number of children these immigrant have, just look into today's classrooms, these children when they leave school will be completing for jobs along with the indigenous populations children.
