How anyone could kill their own child is beyond me, but to kill that child because of some (sorry to jump on my Athiesm Pony) fairy tale is just incomprehensible.

ummm - yes, I think you could very easily argue that.

It's as old as the hills and many (although by all means, not all) have followed that thought process to its natural conclusion.

Seadogg, I doubt very much that she'll deny her beliefs which is why I doubt she'll go for a plea of insanity - although of course, she may well be sent for assessment. Sharia Law might well have looked upon her more favourably than British law.
