I've just been on a recce and got another name. Thatcher era, a Lord........ a life peer, and they say he'll sue, due to be outed tonight, similar to what pdq is saying. Household name from that era. Still alive. Can't say anymore without giving it away but it's out there.
Must say this one sounds credible.
I feel cheated, I went on Jim'll Fix It and I milked a cow whilst blindfolded.

It never got shown, nor did I get a badge
Waste of time that was.
How annoying! I suppose it is "too early to be naming names", now they've been threatened by the lawyers.
Bet the lawyers were working flat out today

Money talks, or hushes up in this case
It's only been internet hype that someone was going to be named on Newsnight.
Elvis, doesn't it just!
The son of an influential peer who admitted to police that he had been having sex with an under-age boy from one of the homes. Despite his admission, he was never prosecuted!!

That statement in itself is worthy of investigation
Hang on a minute Gormet, is that a work of fiction?
"Gormit"
"This perverted, sick, twisted, SOB has been named time and time again in North Wales inquiries into child abuse, yet he still enjoys total freedom to abuse and kill young children (yes, that's right, kill children)"

Interesting and unbelievable article Gormit, who's going to get away with that?
pdq, what you would call paedophilia in the UK wouldn't be illegal in Spain and many other countries where the age of consent is lower than in the UK.
Shallowqueen.
I do not believe every word on that link, nor believe that all the politicians named are guilty. A lot of it is a step too far in my opinion. But the central charatcter named seems to fit the description from the clues from channel four and other. The name is not one of the ones I guessed at but rings true.
