On how many levels is this offensive?
Question Author
Offensive , really , why ?
I can't see this pic as I'm at work and it's blocked. looking at QM's response I dread to think what it is!
Prudie, it`s a truck with about 100 men sitting on it, complete with baggage. In the wilds of Africa - and a completely different part of Africa than the part where Obama comes from by the look of it.
Question Author
Do anyone else think it's offensive ?

I saw it as a bit of a lighthearted post .

I would add , that I am one of Barak's greatest admirers , who was up most of the night watching and hoping he would win .

So really , i'm interested as whather or not other people see it as offensive , which it was certainly not intended to be
Might be better in "Jokes". This isn't a News item.
Hilarious
Whilst the picture is on the face of it amusing, the accompanying verbiage may cause offence to those without a sense of humour.Fine line comedy-ask Frankie Boyle.
I'm not a particularly PC type of person, found the pic amusing as a one off, but have my doubts about its use as News.
Why did I find the need to look all around me, with a guilty look on my face, in case someone spotted me having a good old hearty laugh. :0) :0) :0)

Not exactly a 'News' story I agree, but one has to pick their audience.
Certainly not polite or funny or news.

I was going to reveal something about myself , which would show that there was no disrespect behind the post ( for those who object to it ) however on second thoughts i wont .
Oh, go on Baz, do tell. You can't leave us hanging like this.
I hope its one in the eye for the serially offended brigade.
you live on the back of a truck yourself?
Next stop Uk labour elections.....
It's not offensive I don't think to be honest, but nor did I find it particularly funny. Someone will always be offended by something.
Is your secret that it's a holiday snap of you and your family going camping Baz?
could bazile be african/american? with a bit of a sense of humour? just a thought. all religons and ethnicities are well able to poke fun at themselves without the hounds of pc hell being released! being from 21st century northern ireland,we tread a delicate path , that sometimes humour unites all;-)
I'm from Belfast bunkmoreland and the only answer I ever had removed from here was when we were discussing 'national costume' on a thread and I said ours was a Balaclava ;-)
