As regards the 'jingoistic, 'little England' brigade' as you so rudely called them, although we are just a little Island cut off from mainland Europe, we once had the biggest Empire known, started the Industrial revolution, the best inventors where British, whose inventions and our discoveries we shared with the rest of the world.

Yes we have every right to feel proud, and it is about time that we stopped apologising to all and sundry, lifted our heads high, stuck our chest out with pride, and started to put the 'GREAT' back into Britain.
