Muslims in Pakistan tend to be more devout than Muslims in India.



Muslims in India agreed by plebiscite to become part of a secular country.





The majority of people in India are Muslim. The same is not true of Pakistan.

Pakistan was founded, but India has been India for many centuries. India wasn't "founded", as such, but it created a constitution for itself when it gained independence from Britain.
