If the muggers of the old woman are arrested they will probably be charged with manslaughter. If they're convicted of that, they'll find it usually carries a fairly long prison sentence.

Yes the attackers have to be caught but in the mean time we can busy ourselves speculateing on stuff like .....will a liberal judge say " they didnt mean it" and give them a suspended sentence or the other thing we should really be focusing on is ........

who knows what some parents think, they may not be proud, i know i wouldn't be, but haven't we heard of some parents who happily perjured themselves to get their child, teen off a serious crime.

If there was, it would only be of use if they had a previous criminal record, or were otherwise caught and then they could be attached to the crime.

More reason why we should keep a national record of every citizen's fingerprints and DNA.
