Cheapest PAYG Smart Phone for Game Playing?
5 Answers
My husband has (regretably) allowed our 7 year old son to download and play games on his Iphone and it is now becoming a problem (ie, son grabbing phone off him when he comes home from work to play on, so husband can't use it etc)
I wondered if there might be a cheap second hand PAYG smart phone I could buy so that I could load it with games (but not top it up to be used as a phone, as I think he's still far too young) I not very technology-savy so does anyone know if there is a cheap and cheerful alternative that would allow him to play games in a similar way? Thanks

Personally, I think there are other issues you need to address .... if a 7 year old is dictating to you now, what he does and when he does it .... imagine the problems you're going to have when he's 15, for example. It needs nipping in the bud now .... but that's a whole different story ......

Or, to answer your question, any android phone will do. You can get pretty much the same games as the iphone without a sim card as long as you have a wireless connection. Bear in mind that as long as the wifi is connected he will be able to access internet, messaging etc so you might want to police that. Turning off wifi and not telling him the password will do the trick.
