So as not to upset the Americans

We have a history after all we abstained on the original vote that brought Israel into existance

too scared to do the right thing (whatever we might think that is).

Hague making sure Britain stands tall in the world.

We all know why.
Perhaps because one side is as bad as another?

Nice rant gromit, you will make a very good AOG one day!
Nicely put Gromit.
Would it really be too much to ask to have someone who has integrity just once involved in governing the country and representing us internationally? Apparently so. Disgraceful.

William Hague failed as leader of the Tory Party because he was WEAK and INDECISIVE.

Cameron is getting his just deserts in dragging the old has-been back again - he should have been left to fade away in peace.
Can it be right that Hague sets a condition that Palestinians return to the negotiating table without "pre-conditions"?
Zionist propagandists must be the best in the world. They defend the land grab that denies a small and powerless people their homeland, and the murderous assaults that keep them in subjection, and some people evidently believe them.
"...perhaps because one side is as bad as the other?" There is no equivalence between thieves and their victims.
surprised to see Gromit's perhaps slightly tongue-in-cheek post removed. There surely are questions to be asked about why MPs vote as they do.

Gromit doesn't do 'tongue-in-cheek.

Perhaps his post was removed so has to save him from being sued by one of those eminent gentlemen?
Would some of those gentlemen think being mentioned in a list of Zionist supporters actionable?
if they'd áctually signed up as Friends of Israel, I can't see why. But I didn't check the whole list; perhaps George Galloway's name was inadvertently included.

Weak/decisive generally , he may be - However as with any policy of the government of the day , this foreign policy position , would have been arrived at collectively by the cabinet and others - not unilaterally by Hague .
"William Hague failed as leader of the Tory Party because he was WEAK and INDECISIVE"

I disagree. Even the Archangel Gabriel would have failed as Tory leader at the time, given the prevailing trend of domestic politics. Do not write Hague off; if it all goes pear-shaped for Cameron I can still see Hague emerging as PM.
And he seems to be a man who's commendably frugal when it comes to spending other peoples money. Didn't he opt to share a hotel room with a young aide rather than put the party to the expense of renting two rooms?
//..Didn't he opt to share a hotel room with a young aide //

You got it wrong - it was his valet
I seem to have been censored.

The truth would appear to be unpalatable for some moderators.
