The application has been a long time and if you think that it doesn't always take this long to get planning permission for builds, it can. Especially when the architects, designers are asked to redesign or submit further drawings to make the buildings more pleasing, palatable to fit in with the area and it's surroundings. I know this because some parts of our area have had planning permission going back years and years, same with the redevelopment of parts of Camden along the wharf where developers want to add in many office spaces, some residential, it all takes time, especially if there is lots of local opposition.
