Women of all races have been known to go to the most extraordinary lengths to make themselves more beautiful, but why are these women taking such risks to their health so as to attract males of their own race?

Is it because the black male finds white females the more attractive, hence the various black males who seem happy to take white partners?

i don't think black guys find white girl more attractive, and if these women are taking such a risk it's nothing new. I remember seeing a very distressing documentary some years ago, when a young black girl born in Britain ended up in hospital after bathing in bleach as she wanted to fit in with her white skinned friends. That was, is the nature of prejudice, and thank heavens we have, are moving on from that.

It must work the other way around as where I used to live there were quite a lot of mixed race children with white mothers, some with partners and some without. No-one worries about it in these days.

we're never satisfied, some pale skins long to be tanned - the darker the better (looks healthier than 'washed out')

Black men know, consciously or unconsciously, that the paler their children, the more successful they will be, both financially and by producing more offspring.
Hence the fact that they are more attracted to paler-skinned women. White men understand the same thing, and are reluctant to produce darker-skinned offspring than they can help.
Don't call me racist - these are the facts; I am more or less mixed myself. Not that I care - I find it amusing

I have always attracted Black men for some bizarre reason.

white people are only happy with a tan/fake tan
curly haired people strive to straighten their hair
people with straight hair artificially curl theirs
people wear coloured contact lenses to make their eyes more interesting
people spend their lives on a diet
women have breast implants
people adopt an accent different to their natural speaking voice
men love fat ladies
men love skinny ladies
women love fat men
women love muscle bound gym hogs
people are attracted to those opposite to themselves
people are attracted to those similar to themselves

But in direct response to your question - it is LIGHTER skin, not white skin. No matter what your natural skin colour is, it will darken if you spend hours and hours working outside. Lighter skin tones suggest that one is not from a farming background, is better educated, more prosperous.

(I KNOW that a darker skin doesn't imply one is an uneducated ignromous).

I don't believe for a minute that the majority of black men prefer white women.

how very, very sad. i have a very fair skin and do not tan. worked in africa and came home paler than most who spent their summer here. i would love to have even a slight tan but am not willing to risk possible skin cancer to get it.

Nearly all white women long for a tan. Many black men including the likes of Michael Jackson wanted to look paler. Maybe this proves that a mixed race tan is the most attractive. In fact I personally think half caste tans are far superior to look at than the average white girl.
