2013, So Far So Good!

Got loads done today and still had time to chill out and watch good TV (Pride and Prejudice - swoon!) and have some nice food.

Just had a cheeky whisky and ginger to help shift the last of the cold germs - looking so attractive sat liberally applying lipbalm and night cream round my sore little nose and lips.

Think the whisky has finished me off for the night (cat has been curled up asleep most of the evening with me) so finishing a nice milky tea then off to my bed I think, get a good night's sleep before work at 7am.

Hope the start of 2013 has been a good one for you and lets hope it's a great one, happy and healthy as can be, for us all.

A good start - my team didn't lose to Arsenal (didn't win either, mind you!). I enjoyed work today (for a change). Planned to be healthy but opted for a bacon butty at brekkie as I was in a rush and putting milk on cereal is too time consuming (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!) Haven't been well for four days, but refuse to let it rule me. Watching darts, hopefully Taylor will win, then off to bed for a 7am start also. Kettle will be on about 10 to 6, let me know if you want a cuppa!

Thanks excelsior :) First alarm goes off at half 4 though usually snooze it til 5 (cat permitting). Don't like to leap up first alarm. 2 buses to work hence the early start.
Iong day tomorrow. Work then to hospital for renal scan as kidneys misbehaving.
