On this first weekend of 2013 -

I'll issue a challenge for all you poets out there . . .

I hope you sleep well,
And your wishes come true.

You awake with a hope,
A thought your heart.

For others out there,
No matter how far.

We have but one chance,
To show we have love.

You get what you give,
Or so it is said.

Can you go to sleep,
And rest easy in bed ?
