Which Monopoly Token Should Get The Chop (And Why)?

The makers of Monopoly are to introduce a new metal token which means one of the existing ones will be discontinued.

Which token could uou do without:

Battleship
Boot 
Car 
Hat 
Iron
Scottie Dog 
Thimble 
Wheelbarrow

My choice would be the thimble. Hardly anyone repairs clothes these days when Tesco, Asda and Primark sell them so cheaply.

I'd get rid of the iron - so charachterless and associated with mundane household chores.

I wonder if they've ever done a physcological analysis based on what monopoly piece you choose?

I agree - the iron must go. I have banned them from the house. Can't have a sneaky little bugger hiding in the monopoly set.

The thimble is pretty clearly the most crap one. Frankly I don't see any real need to 'modernise' the pieces as I think the out-datedness kind of gives the game a charm. Never mind.

A lot of the ones they've suggested aren't very good either - the cat and the ring are pretty rubbish. I can't understand why they've ruled out a mobile phone.
