There was panic last Summer because of the lack of rainfall and our reservoirs were drying up. This of course has been superceded by recent events. If we were to only attack the problem when faced with it wrong decisions are made. Now we can tackle drought with a clear head.

Unless statutory regulation is brought in to force the water companies to do something then all will continue as usual, now, if they were state owned things might be different :-/

If you put profit before the health of the nation do nothing. But even the water companies are supervised by OFWAT. They should get them to do something.
