poor man says " give me a lady's name and i'll bet you i can sing a genuine song with her name in it "
rich man scoffing "very well Wilhelmina whortleberry-smythe"
what famous song did the poor man sing ?
could there be a scottish/american theme theme to this. when you google it brings up stuff relating to george washington and colonial settlers etc ?
second puzzle
group a :egypt,falkland islands,gibraltar,sudan, syria
group b: australia,bahamas,canada,hong kong,new zealand,united kingdom
which country in group b should be in group a and why ?
my initial guess would be hong kong as it now belongs to china and all other countries in b are in commonwealth/ crown dependencies etc and have queen as head of state. then i thought could it be earthquakes as new zealand had a earthquake last year. did all countries in group a have one ? then i thought could it be civil unrest . in group a egypt, syria experienced revolution. sudan split in 2 and falkland islands and spain face unwelcome attention from foreign powers who see the land as theirs?
