Shouldn't Cameron first take measures to attract back disillusioned true Tories, before trying to court the Ethnic Minority vote?

He probably thinks that wooing his right wing and doing everything that they want would lose him any election. Trying to court the black and brown voters would serve him better, in improving the image of the Party in their eyes.

why don't they just say that they want to get the black and asian vote because they have been losing their core white constituents hand over fist - as to not being quotas, of course it is, in any business, be in private or public there should be the best man, woman for the job no matter their ethnicity.

There's enough of that rubbish in the public sector who of course do it without question because they love that kind of thing and money is no object. It should not however be inflicted on industry, especially in times like these. The last thing they need is more useless form filling just to keep some jumped up government pen pusher in a job.

what you fail to mention is that some are not black/white, so bi racial, but any number of combinations, asian/black/white so not sure how one would term multi ethnicity..
