I neither see what you are getting at, or what your motives are for asking such a thing?

But since I also cannot be bother to trawl through the archives, I would simply say this, yes I would obviously also object, if a man was fined, or received a light sentence for committed a sexual offence against a women.

But this isn't about that, it is simply asking, "would a man have received such a light sentence, in the circumstances surrounding this particular case"?

because you do question, criticise when a man gets a low sentence, your question seems to me one of criticizing the fact that women get a lower sentence for the same type of crime, but most i am sure do not. Most women in prison are in for drugs related crimes, unlike many men.

and yes men do get light sentences for the same type of crime, often.

The judge took the victims impact statements in to account. They all said they weren't traumatised and were not affected.

If you are that sure Em please give proof when a man who has committed a similar crime against young girls (one only 12), as this woman has committed against teenage boys, and has got off so likely?

But you will notice that I only 'wondered' so I am prepared to accept proof of a man getting off so lightly.

Jimmy Savile, vile man, got away with it for years, some certainly knew of his predilections for very young girls, they turned a blind eye. If he had been shopped years ago might have saved endless young people from his abuse. I know he is dead, and can't answer the charges, but i do wonder if he would have been sent to jail anyway?
sure i could find loads of items where a man has sexually assaulted or raped a girl and got away with it.
