Libor Fixing

This was going on for two years whilst Hestor was a the controls...why hes still there is beyond me.

From what I've managed to find out most of the people involved are still in their positions, those that arent are probably still raking it in in other financial institutions

Can anybody tell me why the police arent involved, no arrests,prosecutions, is fixing not illegal, especially on the sort of scale this was ?

Hestor dive give a garbled opinion why he is still in charge even though the fixing was going on via his watch. Something like he was so high up he wasn't aware whats going on below decks.

So he expects us to believe he was aware of everything else RBS was doing so that he could run it effectively but amazingly Libor fixing he wasnt aware of.

I accept that maybe he wouldnt be aware of Jo Shmo in the hold nicking a few paper clips but this is one of the banks major processes that helps it function and he wasnt aware that it or any other bank was involved in fixing the rate ?!
