I think it's part of the price you pay for being a 'celebrity' in today's culture.

I have no interest in the Royals in any circumstances, but there is. and always has been a massive market for gossip and snaps about 'famous' people, and while that market exists, photos and gossip will be found to fill it.

The Palace would be advised to say nothing - it simply inflames interest among people who otherwise would not even know about the photos.

It seems that these days pregnant mothers love to show off their 'baby bumps', celebrities across the pages of magazines, to the lass in the street displayed under a crop top and hanging over tight fitting jeans.

So why should Kate Middleton be any different?
