The Catholic Church and allegations of sexual impropriety yet again, it seems.
Interesting timing, I thought. No british cardinal will be on the papal selection panel.
And I am pretty sure I read something recently alleging a link between a shortly to be published report on gay clergy in the Vatican itself.

One of the cornerstones of Cathokicism is an ability to simply not see what doesn't suit.
My mother-in-law was born in County Wicklnow in Ireland - one of seven, in a tiny cottage two miles from the village. There lived the priest, alone in a four-bedroomed house - could he not have had the courage of his convictions and offered shelter to this one - or indeed any other family - living in abject poverty?
The premise of this faith makes me sick on a virtually daily basis - hypocracy and sceheming are its methods, chauvenism and bullying are its ways, misery and fear are its oyxgen. A curse on it for eternity.
