what a moron, not step down, suggest someone take him out the door, give him his cards, no money, no pension, p iss off
Even the egregious right-whingers here in AB wouldn't be so crass.

There are three "offences" that he has committed apparently but I couldn't believe what I saw and heard on the local Beeb lunchtime News when this popped. Almost unbelievable....
Why has this story only come to light today when he made the comment over a year ago?

Also, I think you should apologise to AOG for linking this article with him, in my opinion it was a nasty and unnecessary dig.
Question Author
It was meant in a light-hearted manner, daffy and AOG does have a sense of humour. Boy, are some folk touchy and pc-ish on here at the moment? Why does one even bother?

Back to the story, I have no idea why it has taken so long to surface but he hasn't denied it, only apologised and admitting he had a screw loose.
Question Author
And it could have been kept under wraps by the Council until the "audits" and "due process" were all completed.........
'Admitted he had a screw loose.' Explains everything.
Question Author
His words on TV.
It was an appalling comment to make, and people have definitely had to go for less.

I cannot imagine him hanging on for long....
'considering his future'?
I am not touchy or PC-ish, you are just trying to excuse the fact you had no need to link this story with another ABer by now calling me names.
Another PC attack on freedom of speech.
(I hope everyone knows I didn't mean that).
Question Author
lol sp...

and what names have I called you this evening or whenever, daffy, I am most interested.....

Hardly the right subject matter to be using to exorcise your humour DT.
Question Author
However, more seriously, it would be nice to have the ultra-right wing of AB come on here and show their distaste of these sorts of remarks; there is no place in society for this form of disability-hatred - at all.
And if they don't?
Question Author
Perhaps, MT, but the subject is so off-the-wall.....not that I have much confidence in the Cornwall County Council, there's a long feature in the latest Private Eye to the antics of the outgoing chairman who is off to run Wellington in NZ.....good luck and fortune to them, I am sure he will be most constructive.
Question Author
I won't lose any sleep over it, lost enough of that recently to just shrug my shoulders.
Am I ultra right wing?
