Or:
A certain number come to the country each year and the numbers displayed above show many many more "stayed" than left.
163k stayed this year. This is less than the 247k who stayed the year before.
These people stayed for "12 months or more"
We've accumulated less Jonny Foreigners this year, than we did previously.
