To be quite honest, I really don't know. I was typing away on AB yesterday and missed a national news item about a volcano erupting, so I Googled "erupting volcano" to see what I had missed and came up with this.

This was the reply I gave humbersloop, which was not offensive at all, taking into consideration all the previous offensive jibes, that I have had to endure in the past from this ABer.

As I pointed out I wouldn't dream of mentioning it.

It was the only way that I could have a go at all those who are so quick to attack me if I dare to put up a news item without asking a question.

Seems very strange that they do not mind being purposely rude to me, but choose to ignore others.

It is a pity that you did not accept my explanation, it would have saved all the ill feeling, except of course from those who take a delight in such things.

Perhaps if the site's administrators also had, they would not have chosen to delete my totally inoffensive answer.

With you there, aog. For the life of me,I couldn't see what was offensive about your answer. Is it too much to hope that whoever decided to remove it will give their reasons, saying what site rule was broken? If someone, other than the person who's post it is, questions its removal, the Editor concerned ought to give reasons . Otherwise we shall all be 'in the dark'.

AOG, in what way did I not accept your explanation? My first subsequent post said quite clearly, "AOG, don't worry, I am pretty thick skinned"

Also, please don't try and blame me for what is perceived by you as "ill-feeling" from others as I have no wish to get drawn into any squabbles on this site, (unless I start them of course).
