/// Soeren Link, the left-wing mayor of the former industrial city of Duisburg, close to the border with Holland, claims prostitution and robberies have spiked since the EU's latest members began arriving last year. ///
/// 'We are massively affected,' said the mayor, confirming the fears of the Association of German Cities which recently warned of 'social unrest' because of the economic refugees. ///
Our left-wing would be telling us of all the benefit such refugees brought to our country.

Poor economic performance across Europe, "blame" placed on immigration and immigrants, a rise in political parties focusing on immigration and asylum seekers, anger from the ordinairy population against immigrants (we have already seen it in Italy against Roma gypsies), then eventually forced ghettos for the immigrants, and finally ethnic cleansing.
While we in Europe may think we are above all that now I dont think we are.
The stupidity of the EU bosses in taking down border controls and allowing unlimited movement of people across Europe was always going to lead to the people in the very poor countries gravitating to the rich countries, at the annoyance of the people already living in the rich countires. I does not take a brilliant brain to know that was going to happen.
But our politicians live in some sort of cloud cuckoo land where everything is lovely and rosy (maybe because they are chauffered round in huge luxury cars and never see the real world).
I think Europe is in big trouble and could see another "war" in the next couple of decades.
