The number of people out of work fell by 14,000 to 2.5 million in the three months to December, according to the Office for National Statistics.

Economically, bearing in mind the country functioned perfectly well before they came along- hence non jobs, we would have been far better off paying them benefits. Paying out 50K a year for a 5 a day co ordinator is far more than benefits (Unless you are a foreign immigrant with a horde of kids of course)
Jake I am not coming round, I just appreciate at some point we will need to invest. I dont think anyone who has mor than half a brain would think we would never invest.
If they had not trimmed the cloth we would really be in it. Part of the problem is that the liberals have held back. What was needed was deep and quick measures. Short term pain for long term gain.
