"anecdotes about deeply ingrained police racism"

chip on shoulder syndrome....again
It is not reportage.

Ben Douglas writes for the Daily Mail.

Your question is like asking why only 'The Sun' prints the Ask Deirdre column.

Other Ben Douglas writings for the Daily Mail...

Good old Daily Mail who said they were racist, but perhaps there are still some who will accuse them of being sensationalist, that is of course if these reports are true.
Because the daily mail is at the vanguard of the fight for justice. It stands up for freedom against oppression wherever it rears its ugly head. The daily mail is a lone warrior striving on behalf of all the creeds of the world in a valiant effort to unite the human race and it will not rest until the last drip of discrimination has fallen from the tap of hate.

Gromit

Fancy the Daily Mail allowing him to write such things, not taking into account, even employing him?

Sarcastic comment.

Very well put, but then it makes one wonder why some on AB would love not only for it to be silenced, but also those who dare to quote from it.

AOG

It is an opinion piece written by Ben Douglas.

How could another paper report the story?

Seriously...did you not realise when you read it that the subject and the reporter were the same person?
Gomit already said he works for the paper?

AOG - do you still have trouble disecting the genuine posts from the ironic ones?

Judging by your response to doctorjb, it would appear that you do!

I can offer lessons if it would help ...
that should read Gromit....
